Terms and responsible use
Swoop assists candidates; it does not guarantee interviews, offers, or the accuracy of third-party job listings.
Your responsibility
Review every application, resume, cover letter, answer, and follow-up for truth and accuracy. Do not misrepresent qualifications or submit spam.
Third-party platforms
You are responsible for following each job board and employer site's terms. Automated activity can trigger restrictions. LinkedIn automation requires separate consent, pacing, and positive submission confirmation.
Approval-first actions
Keep approval-before-send enabled when you want to inspect completed forms. Swoop must never claim an application was submitted unless the destination displays a positive confirmation.
Plans and allowances
Subscriptions include separate application and managed-AI allowances. Failed or unconfirmed automated submissions refund the reserved application credit, and failed AI requests release their reserved allowance.
Renewals, payment recovery, and cancellations
Subscriptions renew until canceled through the billing portal. One-time add-ons extend the selected usage balance after payment confirmation. A failed renewal enters the operator-configured grace period; managed AI and new application reservations may be limited if payment is not restored. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not reverse activity already provided; operators must publish any jurisdiction-specific refund or cooling-off rights before launch.
No warranty
This open-source software is provided under the repository license without warranties. Review configuration, legal obligations, backups, and security before operating it for others.
Acceptable use
Do not use Swoop to evade platform protections, harvest private contact data, discriminate, impersonate others, or perform unlawful or deceptive activity.
Self-hosters are the data controller for their deployment and should adapt these notices to their jurisdiction, hosting arrangement, tax obligations, payment terms, and providers before public launch. This repository text is a product template, not legal advice.
