How does Swoop find jobs?+
Find Jobs accepts any company as an input: enter its name, official careers page, supported Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or SmartRecruiters link, or an exact public job URL. Swoop safely resolves what the public source exposes and says when it needs the careers URL; it does not bypass private, blocked, or script-only systems. Workday and LinkedIn apply-assist remain separate, opt-in flows.
Will recruiters know I used an AI?+
Swoop cannot know or promise how an employer evaluates writing. It reviews vague, repetitive, or templated language without claiming AI-authorship detection. You approve every factual statement and should keep the final materials authentic to your own experience and voice.
How does resume tailoring work?+
For each role, Swoop reads the job description, identifies the skills being screened for, and rewrites your resume to align them — using only true facts from the resume you uploaded. Cover letters are generated the same way. You approve the changes before anything is sent, and tailored versions are saved per company.
I'm on OPT or need sponsorship — does Swoop help?+
Yes. Set your work-authorization status once and Swoop filters out roles that don't sponsor and answers the authorization questions correctly the first time. It never fabricates your status.
Is my data private?+
API keys are encrypted at rest and never shown again after saving. Resume files and demographic information are treated as sensitive PII with minimal logging. When you use an AI feature, the job and profile context needed for that request is sent to the configured model provider. Self-hosted operators control the database and retention policy.
Do I need my own Claude API key?+
No. Swoop uses an operator-managed provider account and gives each customer a protected allowance; you cannot choose the Agent's model, provider, endpoint, or credential. Private-beta testers can receive a small manual AI-credit grant from the administrator.
